What calendar sync does
Calendar sync connects Cicini with Google Calendar today. When a booking is created, updated, or canceled in Cicini, it can appear on your Google schedule (beta). We are building two-way busy blocking so personal events hide availability automatically, plus Outlook and Apple Calendar support.
The result: fewer missed bookings on your Google calendar and a clearer path toward full two-way sync.
The problems it solves
When calendars don't talk to each other, everything breaks. A provider blocks time in Google Calendar but it doesn't show in the booking system. A client books during a meeting. Two appointments land in the same slot because one was booked on the phone and the other online.
Calendar sync eliminates these conflicts:
- Google Calendar outbound sync (beta) — bookings appear on your Google schedule
- Two-way busy blocking on roadmap — personal events will hide slots
- Outlook and Apple Calendar sync on roadmap
- Staff who use different calendar providers all stay coordinated
Scheduling calendar sync in practice
Connect Google Calendar in a few minutes. From that point forward, new Cicini bookings can appear on your Google schedule. Full two-way sync — where busy personal events block availability on your booking page — is on the roadmap.
Key behaviors:
- New bookings create calendar events automatically
- Rescheduled appointments update both systems
- Cancelled bookings remove calendar entries
- Personal events blocking availability — on roadmap for two-way sync
- Works with individual and shared calendars
Who it's for
Teams where providers manage their own calendars. Businesses where some bookings happen online and others happen by phone. Organizations with staff on Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 in the same building. If your team uses calendars, this keeps them honest.
How it connects with Cicini
Your booking calendar is the availability engine. Online booking software reads it to show open slots. Staff scheduling uses it to coordinate assignments, and automated reminders trigger from calendar events. Service teams like salon and spa booking depend on accurate calendar data — and it's included on every Cicini pricing plan.
Built for reliability
Calendar connections use encrypted transport (TLS). Google Calendar sync is in beta and improving. Your personal event details stay private; we only use calendar data needed to reflect bookings and availability.

How does Cicini calendar sync work today?
Cicini connects to Google Calendar and pushes new bookings to your calendar (beta). That keeps your Google schedule updated when clients book online. Two-way busy-time blocking — reading existing events to hide booked slots — plus Outlook and Apple Calendar sync are on our roadmap.
Does Cicini support Google Calendar scheduling?
Yes. You can connect Google Calendar so appointments created in Cicini appear on your Google schedule. Setup takes a few minutes and is available on paid plans. We are expanding toward full two-way sync so personal events block availability automatically.
Can I sync Outlook or Apple Calendar?
Outlook and Apple Calendar integrations are on the roadmap. Today, Google Calendar outbound sync is the supported path. You can still manage availability manually in Cicini while we finish additional providers.
How does calendar sync help prevent double-bookings?
Accurate availability in Cicini plus reminders reduce scheduling conflicts. As two-way Google sync and additional calendars ship, busy times on connected calendars will automatically hide slots on your booking page. Until then, keep Cicini availability aligned with your primary calendar.
Is calendar sync on the free plan?
Google Calendar connection is available on paid plans. The Free plan covers core online booking and email reminders. Upgrade when you need calendar sync, SMS reminders, and team features.
Is my calendar data kept private?
Cicini only uses calendar data needed to reflect your availability and booking events. Connection uses encrypted transport (TLS). We do not display private event titles to clients on your booking page.
