Can clients pay when they book on Cicini?
Stripe checkout at booking is available on paid plans: full price or a per-service deposit (fixed amount or percent). Paid plans can also issue and redeem gift cards at appointment checkout. Client packages, memberships, and public gift-card self-purchase are on the roadmap.
Do payments help reduce no-shows?
Collecting payment or a deposit at booking gives clients skin in the game. You can require full prepayment or a per-service deposit via Stripe on paid plans. Cicini does not guarantee reduced no-shows. Email and SMS reminders also help reduce missed appointments.
What payment processor does Cicini use?
Appointment payments run through Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe’s PCI-compliant checkout — Cicini does not store raw card numbers. Connect your Stripe account to receive payouts on Stripe’s schedule.
Can clients buy packages or memberships when they book?
Packages, memberships, and session bundles are on the roadmap. Today you can collect full price or a deposit per appointment. We will announce packages when they are live in the product.
Which plan includes appointment payments?
Stripe appointment checkout is available on paid plans (Starter and Professional). The Free plan includes online booking and email reminders without payment collection. Paid plans include a 30-day trial.
Are there extra Cicini fees on top of Stripe?
Cicini does not add a per-transaction platform fee on top of your subscription. You pay Stripe’s standard processing fees. There are no setup fees to start accepting payments.
Can I set different deposit rules per service?
Yes. Per-service deposits support a fixed amount or percent of price. Remaining balance collection after deposit and automated refund policies continue to mature — see dashboard service settings.
Do you send SMS payment reminders?
Automated email reminders on all plans. SMS reminders on paid plans via Cicini’s platform sender (plan quotas apply). Connecting your own Twilio account is not available yet.
